More than twenty-five years of experience in Research in the core engineering sector, as well as in academia. With a Gold Medal from NIT, Surat, in a Bachelor’s degree, have completed Masters and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. 

Worked with General Electric, Siemens, Larsen and Toubro and Aeronautical Development Agency. Over the last seven years, we have moved to the Education Sector with a focus on the development of Green Field Universities and enhancing Research and Innovation. At present, working as a volunteer for three organisations.

Working as a mentor for college students with the SBA Emerging Youth Scholarship and Mentoring Scheme (www.sbahp.org/our-team/). At any given time, have been consistently mentoring three scholars for the last two years. 

Panel member for Reliance Foundation in the evaluation of PG scholarships that are awarded each year. Conducted Master Class on R&D Projects – Initiation to Prototype in March 2023 and Career Development in Tech World in November 2021, as part of the Fire-Side-Chat series for the scholars.

IUCEE (www.iucee.org/who-we-are/) is the third organisation where voluntary services are provided as a Global Expert. Have been largely involved with activities related to the improvement of the quality of teaching in particular and technical education, in general.

Have accumulated significant experience on both sides of the aisle – as a mentor, as well as a mentee. Have benefited tremendously from mentors to come up the learning curve in professional organisations, mentioned above. Similarly, improved mentoring skills in various leadership roles over the tenure of my professional experience and lately, as a formal mentor.

Dr. Anupam Vyas is a distinguished academician with a Doctoral degree in Physics and over 21 years of extensive experience in higher education. He began his teaching career as an Assistant Professor in 2002 and has since built a strong reputation for his exceptional teaching skills and student-focused approach.

Highly respected and admired by students, Dr. Vyas is known for his ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear, engaging, and practical manner. His passion for teaching motivates learners to develop strong conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and academic confidence.

Beyond teaching, Dr. Vyas has made noteworthy contributions to research, having authored several research papers published in reputed national and international scientific journals. He has also held key academic leadership roles, serving as a successful Academic Administrator at multiple reputed universities. Notably, he has worked as the Exam Controller at Symbiosis University, where he played a vital role in maintaining academic integrity, examination standards, and institutional excellence.

Throughout his two decades of academic service, Dr. Anupam Vyas has consistently been a mentor, guide, and motivator, helping students navigate their academic paths and career goals with clarity and purpose. Prof. (Dr.) Samsher Bahadur Batra is a highly accomplished academic leader, researcher, and administrator with an illustrious career spanning academia, research, and defense services. He has recently retired as the Vice Chancellor of Bhagwant Global University, Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, where he provided visionary leadership in academics, research, and institutional development.

Dr. Batra holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2013) and an M.Tech in ECE from Pune University. He also possesses a strong multidisciplinary academic foundation with dual undergraduate degrees—B.Tech and B.Sc. His commitment to continuous learning is reflected in his advanced certifications from IITs in VLSI Signal Processing, CMOS Digital VLSI Design, and Hardware Modeling using Verilog, keeping him aligned with modern industry and research trends.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Batra has served in several prestigious leadership roles, including Dean (R&D) and Professor in the ECE Department at MITRC, Alwar, as well as Principal/Director at renowned institutions such as LIET, Alwar; IIST, Indore; AIT, Alwar; and SBMN Engineering College, Rohtak. His international academic exposure includes professorships at Debre Brehan University and Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia, along with Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, contributing significantly to global academic collaboration.

In addition to his academic excellence, Dr. Batra proudly served the Indian Air Force as a Commissioned Officer in the Aeronautical Engineering branch. He held the position of Commanding Officer twice and also served as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Senior Technical Officer (STO), demonstrating exceptional leadership, discipline, and technical expertise.

Dr. Batra is also a certified faculty for Universal Human Values (UHV) education, having successfully completed three AICTE-conducted UHV programs. He is deeply committed to holistic education, focusing not only on technical excellence but also on ethics, values, and character building among students.
